A. Turn in the homework from Wednesday's class. Make sure your name is on it!
B. Open your science journal to the Unit 2 notes, get a calculator, and pick up a few pieces of scrap paper for solving problems.
C. Go to Rose-Prism.org. Complete the following Unit 2 Skills Practices:
1. Protons, Electrons, Neutrons of Neutral Atoms
2. Ions
3. Isotopes
4. Average Atomic Mass Using Relative Abundance.
Skills Practices Special Note: You MUST get a 75% or higher on each of these skills practices or the review guide will not open for you. I have it set that you can take these skills practices as many times as you need to achieve a 75% on each one. One person in each of my classes should show this website page to the substitute since I did not leave this special note in my sub plans. You should have impressed my substitute by now. This means your cell phones are put away, your earbuds are out of your ears, you are using your manners, and you are demonstrating excellent behavior. If the substitute is impressed and says it is fine to sit with a partner or two, you may do so. Of course, if the substitute feels the class is not working to its potential, you will stay in your assigned seat. If you do get the opportunity to work with your peers and choose not to productively work on these assignments, the substitute will tell you to return to your assigned seat.
D. Unit 2: Review Guide. Complete the Unit 2 Review Guide. Yes, I will be taking a score on this rose-prism.org assignment. Now, I have limited how many times you can complete this review guide. This review guide can be completed TWICE and only twice.
E. Homework: Make sure that ALL of the skills practices and the Unit 2: Review Guide are done by the start of next class. You are taking a test on Tuesday. The test covers Unit 2 in your science journal.
